ARTISTS

The Connor Brothers

For over a decade, The Connor Brothers have been shaking up the art world with their bold fusion of retro design and contemporary satire. Drawing inspiration from vintage book covers—ranging from Penguin Classics to 1950s pulp fiction—they reimagine these iconic visuals with their own witty and, at times, provocative titles, creating statement-making literary artworks.

Dan Hillier

The late Dan Hillier was a visionary artist whose work fused Surrealism and Neo-Victoriana to create hauntingly beautiful, dreamlike realms. Inspired by dream imagery, religious iconography, and anatomical studies, he combined intricate ink drawings with antique illustrations to craft otherworldly creations.

During his prolific career, Hillier collaborated with the Globe Theatre, Marc Jacobs, and Louis Vuitton, designed the cover for Royal Blood’s chart-topping debut, and contributed to the BBC drama Requiem.

Joe Webb

Joe Webb (b. 1976) crafts handmade collages using vintage magazines and ephemera, turning away from technology to embrace a purely analogue process. By juxtaposing just two images, he creates narratives that explore nostalgia, surrealism, and a 1950s vision of the future gone awry.

Exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery and featured on album covers, Webb’s work has gained viral popularity, blending wit and charm with a timeless, hand-crafted aesthetic.
