"Good day to you.

As we creep towards the return of the light in a few weeks, I'm releasing my last edition of the year, which, after lots of working in my usual way of scanning in, cutting up, tampering with and adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing from and to 18th and 19th century steel and wood engravings, ended up being quite a long, enjoyable and involved process.  I used a lot of elements, textures and forms from various sources and it all got quite elaborate, before eventually being pared back to what it is now. 

This one is mostly made out of elements of two especially marvellous steel engravings from 1794 and 1892 by Robert Smirke and Friedrich Knolle respectively.It's a picture about the light breaking through the clouds."
